The Music Graduate Students Association of the University at Buffalo is pleased to present a Graduate Student Symposium on February 26-27, 2010. We warmly invite presentations of research from graduate students in all disciplines of music: composition, musicology, performance, theory, and related topics.

Mark Katz

The conference will feature a keynote address by Mark Katz of the University of North Carolina, Chapel Hill. Professor Katz is the author of Capturing Sound: How Recording Technology has Changed Music (University of California Press, 2004), and The Violin: A Research and Information Guide (Routledge, 2006).
