Conference and Research Funding:

Departmental Funding

· The department will provide students presenting at a national conference funding up to $200.  For conference presentations less than 300 miles away, $100 will be awarded.  For conference presentations more than 300 miles away, $200 will be awarded.  These funds are limited, and will be awarded on a first-come first-serve basis.  To obtain more information, contact the Assistant to the Chair, Linda Pogorzelski. 

GSA Funding

· The Graduate Student Association has conference funding for all graduate students attending or presenting at conferences. $400. for doctoral and $250. for masters students. Go to www.gse.buffalo.edu for more information.

ELP ~ GSA Funding

GSA Mark Diamond Research Fund

· Grants for thesis and dissertation research up to $1000. for masters and $2000. for doctoral students. Go to www.gsa.buffalo.edu for more information.

 

Computer Lab:

 

An ELP-GSA computer lab is available to ELP students in 460 Baldy Hall. The key is available in the main office or contact Qian Sun at qiansun@buffalo.edu to put down a $5.00 deposit and sign-out a key for as much time as you want.

 

Remember: We supply the ink (on order right now) and you supply the paper.
